The Filter King System was designed for the Metal Finishing Industry to handle waste water contaminants from the effluent created by the deburring process. This Simple treatment system is an economical and easy way to remove heavy metal fines and ceramic residue ensuring that treated effluent will meet Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) discharge limits established by local and state authorities.
After every 20-40 hours of production the water is treated to remove all solids. What’s left is clean water, ready for the next production cycle or to send down the drain.
During the Process, the solid particles are encapsulated by the flocculant and discharged into the filter bag. After the filter bag is dewatered it may be disposed of as solid waste.
The Filter King can treat plastic and ceramic media, removing the sludge created as well as most oily deburring by-products from metal finishing processing.
This process eliminates “the settling tank” which no one likes to clean and doesn’t leave the effluent suitable to go down the drain.
